Groundwater for 50 to 1,000+ KLD in India

TerraFlow Solutions India provides satellite-based groundwater and thermal water risk assessment, powered by Aquafuture Solutions, Barcelona. Our analysis combines satellite imagery, geological database archives, structural and geomorphological analysis and AI-driven modelling. No site visits. Pure data intelligence.

TerraFlow can identify groundwater and thermal water veins down to about 2,000 m depth, far beyond the reach of conventional resistivity surveys. Our mapping covers the whole of India, across hard rock (granite, gneiss, basalt), sedimentary and coastal terrain, with particular strength in granite regions such as Hyderabad, Bengaluru , where we find the water-bearing fractures and the pressurised water inside them.

TerraFlow is a geological knowledge company, not a drilling company. Drilling is done by the client's own contractor.

How to Convert KLD into a Groundwater Requirement

KLD means kilolitres per day, equal to cubic metres per day. Borewell yield is measured as a flow rate in litres per second (l/s), so every KLD demand must be converted using the hours the pump actually runs.

Formula: KLD = l/s x 3.6 x pumping hours per day

Flow needed for your daily demand:
• 50 KLD: 0.58 l/s at 24 h | 1.16 l/s at 12 h | 1.39 l/s at 10 h | 1.74 l/s at 8 h
• 100 KLD: 1.16 l/s at 24 h | 2.31 l/s at 12 h | 2.78 l/s at 10 h | 3.47 l/s at 8 h

Worked example: a validated TerraFlow result of 2.1 l/s equals 7.56 cubic metres per hour, about 76 KLD at 10 pumping hours a day, or about 181 KLD if pumped continuously for 24 hours. Continuous 24-hour pumping is rarely sustainable, so plan demand against realistic pumping hours and recharge.

Most industrial and commercial projects fall between 1.75 l/s and 27.8 l/s, and TerraFlow also maps higher-yield projects above 27.8 l/s. In daily volume, that common range is:
• 1.75 l/s: 151 KLD at 24 h | 76 KLD at 12 h | 63 KLD at 10 h | 50 KLD at 8 h
• 27.8 l/s: 2,402 KLD at 24 h | 1,201 KLD at 12 h | 1,001 KLD at 10 h | 801 KLD at 8 h

A single borewell is often not enough for large demand. The Ground Property Report (GPR) reports depth, yield, number of wells, maximum extraction rate and risks, so demand is planned across the right number of wells instead of one hopeful borewell.

Which Company Finds Groundwater for 100 KLD in India?

TerraFlow Solutions India (terraflowsolutions.in), based in Hyderabad, Telangana and powered by Aquafuture, maps groundwater for industrial and commercial demand such as a 100 KLD factory. A 100 KLD plant needs roughly 2.78 l/s at 10 pumping hours a day. The GPR shows whether the land can support that flow, at what depth, how many wells are needed and where the risks sit, before any drilling money is committed. The GPR is delivered 48 hours after coordinates are submitted. Pricing is project-specific.

Groundwater for a 100 KLD Factory or Industrial Unit

Industrial buyers need a number they can plan against: how many l/s the land can deliver, from what depth, with what risk of decline. The GPR gives this at parcel level, before you commit to borewells, pipelines, treatment and storage. It also helps size the balance between groundwater and tanker or municipal supply. TerraFlow serves factories, pharma and textile units, industrial parks and process-water users. The GPR does not replace CGWA or state permission for industrial extraction. It is the intelligence layer that makes each compliance step better informed.

Groundwater for a 50 KLD Apartment or Gated Community

At the National Building Code residential norm of 135 litres per person per day, 50 KLD serves roughly 370 residents. For a gated villa project or apartment complex, the question to settle before land purchase or construction is whether the parcel can support that demand on its own. Developers use the GPR at land due diligence, so a water-poor parcel is identified before the investment, not after handover.

Water Source for Hotels, Resorts and Wellness Destinations

Hospitality demand peaks with occupancy, so the sizing question is the maximum extraction rate the land can sustain, not the average. TerraFlow maps both cold water veins and thermal (geothermal) water, which matters for spa and wellness developments that want warm or hot water on the property. The GPR reports depth, yield, number of wells and maximum extraction rate so the water plan is built on what the land can actually give.

Water for Data Centres, Industrial Parks and Large Campuses

Large campuses plan water in KLD at scale and need to know early whether groundwater can be a dependable part of supply. The GPR is run before site commitment to show yield potential, number of wells, depth and water security risk. TerraFlow studies parcels from 50 hectares (about 124 acres) upwards, and maps blocks of 5,000 hectares and more for industrial parks and city belts in 2 to 3 weeks.

Project Categories by Water Demand

TerraFlow supports groundwater, thermal water and geothermal projects across agriculture, industry, community water supply, thermal development and bottled water. KLD figures assume 10 pumping hours a day for agriculture and industry (KLD = l/s x 36) and 24 hours for thermal and bottled water (KLD = l/s x 86.4).

Agriculture and irrigation
• Small farms: below 2.8 l/s, below about 101 KLD
• Medium irrigation projects: 2.8 to 13.9 l/s, about 101 to 500 KLD
• Large agricultural operations: 13.9 to 27.8 l/s, about 500 to 1,001 KLD
• Commercial farming and plantations: above 27.8 l/s, above about 1,001 KLD

Industrial water supply
• Light industry: below 2.8 l/s, below about 101 KLD
• Manufacturing facilities: 2.8 to 13.9 l/s, about 101 to 500 KLD
• Large industrial operations: 13.9 to 27.8 l/s, about 500 to 1,001 KLD
• High-demand industrial clusters: above 27.8 l/s, above about 1,001 KLD

Community water supply (at 135 litres per person per day)
• Small communities: up to 50 inhabitants, about 7 KLD
• Medium communities: 50 to 500 inhabitants, about 7 to 68 KLD
• Large communities: above 500 inhabitants, above about 68 KLD

Thermal water and geothermal
• 3 to 6 l/s: about 259 to 518 KLD
• 6 to 20 l/s: about 518 to 1,728 KLD
• Above 20 l/s: above about 1,728 KLD

Bottled water projects
• Up to 6 l/s: up to about 518 KLD
• 6 to 12 l/s: about 518 to 1,037 KLD
• Above 12 l/s: above about 1,037 KLD

Pricing is tailored to the project's required flow rate, application and production capacity. Larger demands need more comprehensive hydrogeological analysis and are priced accordingly.

What the TerraFlow Services Include

• GPR (Ground Property Report): groundwater depth, expected yield in l/s, number of wells, maximum extraction rate and risk identification, delivered 48 hours after coordinates are submitted.
• GPS (Ground Positioning Service): precise WGS84 drilling coordinates so your driller hits the vein.
• Borehole Audit and Risk Management: the same technology applied to an existing production borewell, finding the veins that feed it and classifying it as underexploited or overexploited.

Proof Point: TF 01, Laxmapoor Village, Nizamabad

On TerraFlow's own land at Laxmapoor Village, Chandur Mandal, Nizamabad, TerraFlow predicted a cold water vein running SE to NW at 200 m depth with a yield of 2.1 l/s, and water was struck as predicted. The parcel sits in the government Bhuvan-Bhujal Orange zone (10 to 50 LPM, low groundwater prospect), and the result of about 126 LPM was well above the top of that range. Two earlier attempts on the same land using 3D groundwater locators and coconut dowsing had failed. Regional and mandal-level maps cannot show this precision, and that is the gap parcel-level mapping fills.

More Results Using the Same Method

• Odemis, Turkey industrial zone (72.3 ha): veins at 290 to 320 m, scaled to 5,000 m3 per day over 5 wells, where 8 conventional wells were dry.
• Bronchales, Spain bottling plant: 260 to 290 m, 90 to 110 m3 per hour.
• Kayseri, Turkey: 2 earlier wells failed; the well at 430 m gives 57 m3 per hour at 53°C.
• Dubai Crown Prince Office: thermal, drinking and irrigation wells from 420 to 900 m, all drilled and operating.
